44 Insights to get your meditation practice off the cushion and into the real world. This book is a delight to read. It is human, it is interesting and insightful. The author shares her life, her struggles, and the spiritual path she's found to deal with it.

  • Meditation is first about clarifying who you truly are, only then can you begging to create who you want to be.

  • You are not the voice in your head, you are the one that hears it.

  • Meditation should be about shocking the status quo mentality through conscious shocks. Taking different and uncommon actions.

  • Nothing outside your soul will free you.

  • We can't kill pain but we can leverage it to grow spiritually.

  • When making a change in your life. Don't allow yourself to be replaced by some lower version of yourself.

  • Everything has an implicit or explicit cost. Be conscious and mindful of how you choose to pay for what you want.

If you want to find your spiritual path. Deepen your connection with yourself, with life, with the divine, I would absolutely recommend this book. It is a great way to deal with incorporating spirituality with everyday life.
