Los Secretos De La Mente Millonaria

In this book the author focuses on the beliefs surrounding money-making. It contrasts rich people and poor people ideas about money.
I like the approach because it's an invitation to switching the inner narrative using examples.

  • If your subconscious pattern isn't programmed correctly, nothing will truly change.

  • Rich people play the game to win, poor people play the game to minimize the loss. The rich focus on opportunities, the poor on obstacles. The rich focus on value, the poor on cost.

  • It is not enough to be in the right place at the right time. You have to be the right person, in the right place and time. Rich people continue to prepare themselves.

  • There is no such thing as rick victims. Switch your attitude towards life, and life will switch its attitude towards you. Go from being a know-it all to a learn-it-all

  • To want something, to choose something, and to commit to something are three very different things. The rich commit to their goals.

  • The rich understand that with creativity you can have the best of both worlds. They don't get lost in false dilemmas.

  • The rich get going, they trust that once they are in the game they will be able to make intelligent decisions in the present. Poor people don't trust their abilities, so they believe they must know everything in advance.

I would absolutely recommend this book. It reminds me of the psychology of money, but instead of giving historic examples, it focuses on beliefs you should interiorize. It obviously talks about money, but the concepts transcend monetary abundance.
